How to make chickpeas(chana pulao)
Chana Pulao
Chana Palau is a dish made with spicy, fragrant and delicious gram rice or gram pilaf with fragrant basmati rice, melted white gram (garbanzo beans), sharp onions, tangy tomatoes, healthy herbs and deep spices. Made from This Indian gram rice makes a filling, comfortable and satisfying meal with vegetable salad, yogurt dip or raita or plain yogurt. INGRIDENTS
.2 cup rice soaked
for 30 minutes
.1 cup chickpeas(Chaney)
2-3 table spoon
cooking oil (as required)
1 medium onion
2 Tomatos
1 tea spoon garlic
paste
1 tea spoon ginger
paste
2 table spoon black
pepper
3-5 green chili
1 teaspoon cumin seed
1 cinnamon
1 table spoon red
chili powder
1 table spoon salt
1 teaspoon turmeric
powder
1 table spoon gram
masla powder
Method
First take a blender
add garlic ginger green chili in it and blend it well
Then in a pan heat
the oil and add onion cumin seed .fry till the onion become a golden brown .
Then add blend paste in it and stir it well after that add tomato in it and fry
for some second continue to cook until tomato soft. add red chili powder turmeric powder salt add
chickpeas(Chaney) in it fry for some
seconds after that add 3 cups of water
cover it bring it to boil then add
soaked riced in stir well cook on medium flame until water dried (soaked )cover
it well on low flame for 10/12 minutes
Garnish with
coriander leaves and serve with raita
