How To Make Ras Malai

Ingredients

Milk 1 1/2 liters

Whole green cardamom 5

1/2 cup sugar or as required

Nido Full Cream Dry Country Powder 1 Cup

1/2 teaspoon green cardamom powder

1 tablespoon oil

Egg 1 (beaten)

All purpose flour 1 tbsp.

Baking powder 1 tsp

For garnish

Almonds

Pistachio

Silver paper

instructions 

Boil the milk with the whole cardamom and sugar in a heavy bottom pan. Boil the milk over low heat for 10 to 15 minutes until it thickens.

Meanwhile, when the milk starts to boil, add cardamom powder, oil, scrambled eggs, all-purpose flour and baking powder in another bowl to make a smooth dough. If you think the dough is sticky, add a little more milk powder. Add but make sure the dough is smooth.

Make small tablets after lubricating your palm with small oils. Remember that the balls are very smooth and have no cracks (if the balls explode they will explode in the milk).

Put these balls in boiling milk for 10 to 12 minutes, do not use a spatula and rotate them, just shake the pan.

When it doubles in size, transfer to a serving dish and refrigerate.

Garnish with almonds, pistachios and silver pepper and serve.
