How To Make Sheer Khurma

Ingredients

▢ 1/4 cup ghee or butter 

▢ 1/4 cup different nuts 

 1 liter full fat milk

1 cup nylon vermicelli 

▢ 1/2 cup evaporated milk 

2 crushed green cardamom

▢ 1/2 cup sugar 

Instructions

Heat half a ghee in a medium sized pot. Add the nuts, and fry for 2 minutes. Remove from the pot and set aside.

Add remaining ghee and vermicelli. Fry on medium heat for 2-3 minutes till golden and fragrant.


Now mix cardamom in milk.

Cook over medium heat, stirring, for 10-15 minutes.

Add sugar and cook for another 5-7 minutes. Finally add boiled milk and cook for another 5 minutes.

Remove from heat and transfer to a serving dish.

Whole dates can be eaten hot or cold. When cool, it will thicken.
